Adventures of Mana releases on PlayStation Vita today0 Comments
The PlayStation Vita fanbase may be small, but boy are they passionate. Over the past few years we've seen more than a couple of Japanese games finally make their way to the West only to bring over every version but the Vita port. The most recent victims of this were Romancing SaGa 2 and Adventures of Mana, both of which are remakes of classic titles for the Vita and mobile devices.
After a lot of feedback from the community when the mobile ports were announced to be coming West, the folks at Square Enix eventually revealed that they were looking into localizing the Vita versions as well. If you're one of the people who were holding off for this to happen, then rejoice! Adventures of Mana is releasing on the PlayStation Vita today.
If you're unfamiliar with Adventures of Mana, it was originally released on Game Boy as a Final Fantasy spinoff titled Final Fantasy Adventure — confusingly known as Mystic Quest in Europe, which is an altogether different game here. The game went on to spawn the Mana series, and has actually be remade once before as Sword of Mana, though that was more of a reimaging while this is a direct remake of the Game Boy title.
