Electronic Arts drops a Titanfall 2 teaser0 Comments
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment are getting the E3 hype train a-rolling quickly, dropping a brief teaser for the next Titanfall game, aptly named Titanfall 2.
The 45-second teaser is essentially an announcement of an announcement, with a disembodied voice talking about how "people like you always want to be the hero" as the camera approaches a pod of some kind in the middle of a dense forest. Suddenly a mech leg's appears, followed closely by a giant metal sword/knife thing, and the game's logo before ending with "Worldwide Reveal June 12."
The most notable item about the announcement is the systems Titanfall 2 will be launching for, as the teaser named Xbox One, PC, and the previously left out PlayStation 4 as destinations for this new game. There's been no word yet on whether the original game will be ported to PS4 at the moment, but perhaps that announcement will compliment the full Titanfall 2 reveal in June.
Hooray Titanfall 2! Hooray finding out about it on June 12 at the EA Play event! Hooray for a 45-second teaser spelling out something we already had the information for! Regardless of how unnecessary this teaser may seen, one thing is super clear: it's E3 2016 season folks, hold on to your butts.
