EVE: Valkyrie will feature cross-play for Rift, Vive, and PSVR0 Comments
With the new wave of virtual reality taking the world by storm, all manner of interesting titles are popping up for the various big name headsets. One of the titles that I find most interesting from this line-up is EVE: Valkyrie, a first-person spacecraft shooter from CCP Games. If you've also found yourself intrigued by the gorgeous, deep space dogfights the game offers, but opted for the HTC Vive or are waiting for the upcoming PlayStation VR, then CCP has some good news for you.
The Oculus Rift launch title will not only be making its way to the Vive and PSVR headsets later this year, it will also feature cross-play between all of them. Those unfamiliar with the fascinating VR spinoff of the popular EVE Online need look no further than the new trailer embedded above, which shows off the new Carrier Assault mode from the game's first free content update. It's looking pretty damn impressive, I must say. No official date has been given for EVE: Valkyrie's release on the Vive, but it's planning to be a launch title for the PSVR when that launches in October of this year.
