Fallout 4 mods are coming to Xbox One next week0 Comments
Fallout 4 has been out for several months now, and as is usually the case, PC owners of the game have had access to mods essentially right from the start. Console owners, on the other hand, have essentially never had access to true-to-form mods for Bethesda's games. That was set to change when Bethesda announced that mods would be coming to this generation's console version of the game, and the company has just announced that Xbox One players will be able to get their hands on a selection of Fallout 4 modifications next Tuesday.
While additional mods will arrive in time, the first few mods that will be available have already been announced: Snap'n Build is a modification that's designed to help players build more structures within their various Commonwealth settlements, and the Alien Assault Rifle allows players to customize their very own weaponized extraterrestrial technology. You can see both of those, as well as the craftable night-vision goggles, in the video above.
The Xbox One played host to a beta for Fallout 4 mods earlier this week, and from what can be deduced, the infrastructure set in place seems to have worked out well. It's unknown whether or not the PlayStation 4 will play host to a similar beta, but Bethesda seems to be holding true to their announcement that mods will be coming to the PS4 in June.
