Final Fantasy XV director speaks up about DLC and potential PC version0 Comments
Much has been told to game fans about upcoming RPG release Final Fantasy XV, but much still remains unknown — and where a lack of complete understanding exists lies the option to provide further answers. So it has come to pass that Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has provided even more details of the long-anticipated latest entry to the Final Fantasy franchise.
Much of the provided details center around the potential PC version of the game, which, according to the JeuxVideo interview with Tabata translated by DualShockers, would be set to release sometime after the console versions drop in September. Tabata reportedly said the hope is that a PC version would help "push the game to a new technical level," which could mean anything from a complete graphical overhaul to new game mechanics and more.
Tabata briefly mentioned that Square Enix will reveal the nature of DLC plans in the summer. He also said that whatever form the DLC takes, the stated goal will be to "prolong the pleasure of playing the game," and to "actually create enthusiasm among the players." We'll definitely be hearing more about it soon, as summer fast approaches, and Final Fantasy XV draws ever closer to its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch on September 30.
