Horizon Zero Dawn gets a release date and a new trailer0 Comments
Horizon Zero Dawn was easily one of the highlights of last year's E3 for me. Guerrilla Games has been relegated to the enjoyable Killzone FPS series for the past decade, but now they're getting a chance to show off what else they can do, and they certainly seemed to pique everyone's interest with what they showed off. After a period of silence from the team, they've now revealed that Horizon Zero Dawn will be releasing on February 28, 2017.
There's also a new trailer for the robo-jurassic title that focuses on the game's protagonist, Aloy. In it, we get to see a lot more of the gorgeous world that this story will take place in, and we learn that Aloy isn't like the other people who live in this era. Most seem to view the past as something that's better left forgotten, but our leading lady is the curious sort. She's considered an outcast, and doesn't seem to come from the tribe she calls home, which gives her all the more reason to set out in search of the truth.
It's unfortunate that we need to wait a bit longer to get our hands on this intriguing new game, but hopefully the extra time will allow them to make it that much better. With E3 right around the corner, we'll no doubt see a bit more of Horizon Zero Dawn soon, as well as the other titles we'll be looking forward to in 2017.
