Latest Fallout 4 XP exploit might be the biggest glitch yet0 Comments
Fallout 4 players have a huge variety of ways to level up their characters in the Commonwealth, with questing and spilling blood being the most traditional methods, but what can players do if they don't want to spend hundreds of hours mowing through raiders and super mutants? Well, word has arrived of a new XP glitch that can earn players hundreds of thousands of experience points in a very short amount of time, and the only prerequisite is the Automatron DLC.
This glitch comes our way via YouTube user Hey Im Starlord, who gives a detailed outline of the strange process with which these unsanctioned loads of experience can be gathered. Firstly, players need to keep a companion and a cabinet near to a robot workbench. Players craft a new robot, change out its torso, and then drop all of their junk into the nearby storage container.
The next part is where the magic happens: players need to quickly select their companion, hit trade, and then activate the robot workbench. If done correctly, the robot menu will pop up over the trade menu. All that's needed after that is to highlight the Protectron torso and then spam the confirm button. Trades happen, and something surely gets garbled in the game's code, but when moving away from the menus, players will be showered with illegitimate experience points.
It's not immediately clear from the video how this method manages to provide so much experience, but the evidence shows that it does work, and works well at that. Sure, it might go against the game's rigid "wasteland survival" theme, but there are benefits — the least of which might be replacing perk points spent on unnecessary power-ups.
