Latest video update shows Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in action0 Comments
It seems like so long ago that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night smashed through its Kickstarter goal (as well as set a video game funding record) and earned an outrageous $5.5 million dollars from project backers. In reality, it's been less than a year, and the teams behind the title have been working steadily to make sure their labor of love keeps to its set schedule.
Of course, the casual update is always nice, and fan favorite Koji Igarashi has a new video update for those following progress on the title. He's dropped a few of these before, but this one is special in that it shows some actual action, specifically with protagonist Miriam running, jumping, and kicking around a "grid map" that the developers use for testing purposes.
For what can be seen from the video, things certainly seem to be shaping up well. Igarashi himself says that the development is "making good progress," and even though the early snippet of the game looks relatively barren, Igarashi's enthusiasm bodes well for the work. If all things go smoothly, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night should be landing onto eager gamers' machines in March of next year.
It's still super early, but hey, it's Bloodstained in action, Destructoid
