Live-action horror game The Bunker arriving in 20160 Comments
Quantum Break isn't the only game with a live-action twist to be released this year. Splendy Games' first project, The Bunker is launching in 2016. This cerebral thriller is completely live-action and uses zero CGI effects. Starring Adam Brown of The Hobbit, The Bunker tells the story of John, the sole survivor in an English government bunker (it was filmed in a real-life bunker, rather than a set) following a nuclear attack. Naturally, there are some spooky things happening in the bunker, and John will have to go to lengths to survive.
Players will solve the bunker's dark mystery by solving puzzles, uncovering hidden logs and documents, and triggering John's own repressed memories. Adam Brown felt that the filming process was quite interesting. “The whole experience was fascinating to be a part of," Brown said. "As the story is non-linear we had to film every single possibility and interaction - I became a real life games character! It’s a terrific location and very spooky - they had me crawling around in some strange places." The Bunker is out in summer 2016, with console and mobile versions to follow later in the year.
