New Dragon Quest Heroes II footage shows off PS Vita and multiplayer gameplay0 Comments
The metropolitan area of Tokyo played host to a "Premium Hands-On" event for Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End yesterday, which means fans can now check out loads of new videos showing off the PlayStation Vita versions of the title, as well as new demonstrations of some of the game's mechanics.
All of this content comes via Gematsu, who have posted 35 new photos and 8 new videos of the game running, the latter of which can be found via the YouTube page for Sasamune Game. Among other things, the videos showcase the game's Transformation-type Monster Coins, which allow players to turn themselves into monsters in order to do battle (seen above). There's also a new video that showcases the games multiplayer, with characters teaming up to take down the massive WingTiger.
Japan-based Dragon Quest fans won't have to wait too much longer to check out the title, as Dragon Quest Heroes II: The Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End is launching for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita on May 27. It's still unknown whether or not the game will reach Western shores, but seeing as how surprisingly successful the original Dragon Quest Heroes turned out to be, there's reason to hold out hope.
