PEGI posting seems to confirm Batman HD Collection before disappearing0 Comments
The rumor mill seems to grind away endlessly, promoting products or concepts that won't necessarily see the light of day. The modern Batman: Arkham games have recently felt the influence of this infernal machine, with whispered words snaking through the shadows, seeming to confirm that there'd soon be a Batman Arkham HD Collection. Then, a leak emerged — a GameStop employee posted details of an internal memo that confirmed a collection containing updated versions of both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City.
Though the April 19 pre-order window posted within that memo seems to have passed, the collection itself soon gained another ally seeming to confirm its existence. The Pan European Game Information website posted a listing for the Batman Arkham HD Collection (a posting which seems to have since disappeared, a screenshot of which can be found over on Eurogamer), slated for a release date of April 19, which aligns with the pre-order date from the leaked memo.
Of course, the game doesn't seem to be available for pre-order just yet — the GameStop website doesn't have a product listing for the collection, nor does the likes of Amazon — so seeing as how the pre-order date provided was tentative, the same may apply to the release date as well. However, by all other accounts, the collection does seem to exist in some capacity, which means fans should expect to hear official confirmation at some point soon.
