Rocket League Collector's Edition gets a release date0 Comments
Last year soccer took the world by storm. Well, not real soccer, it’s more like virtual soccer with rocket-fueled rally cars. No less competitive and much more explosive, Rocket League became a hit when it released on Steam and PlayStation Network last year as a free download for PlayStation Plus members. Earlier this year, the game also saw a release on Xbox One due to its enduring popularity on the other two platforms.
Back in February, publisher and developer Psyonix confirmed that Rocket League will be getting a special physical release later this year. They promised to "make sure the retail version of the game is special," and the latest details prove Psyonix did just that. The physical version will come with all previously released expansions, including Supersonic Fury and Revenge of the Battle-Cars. They also announced that this release will give players four new cars to choose from, but details have not yet been released.
Rocket League: Collector’s Edition will be on store shelves on June 24 in Europe and July 5 in North America for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
