Stardew Valley Mac and Linux versions releasing next week0 Comments
Stardew Valley, everyone's favorite new simple farming life game, is finally spreading beyond Windows PCs. Developer Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, announced on Twitter that the game would be coming to Linux and Mac systems at the end of this month.
There's considerable Stardew Valley news aside from a platform expansion, too. A new update to the game, version 1.1, is also on the way. ConcernedApe has called it a "substantial content update," and it's set to include improvements to combat and mining, several new localization options, the ability to move buildings around after construction, and a fair amount of late-game content including new marriage candidates, farm buildings, crops, goods, and secrets.
The previously-touted co-op multiplayer is also on the way, but as is with the update, no specific time frame has been given. Still, all those gamers on Mac and Linux systems who have yet to check out what Stardew Valley has to offer will be able to scope out the game when it releases for those platforms on July 29.
