Suda51’s Let It Die will be dicing up PlayStation 4 later this year0 Comments
This is one of those rare announcements that actually made me jump up in my chair and let out a whoop when I first read it. There has been an extended period of radio-silence from Goichi Suda’s development company Grasshopper Manufacture since the announcement of Let It Die in 2014, but a new video update shows that the game is on track for a 2016 release.
If this is the first you’re hearing about Let It Die, I'll let executive producer Kazuki Morishita give you his description of it. "Let it Die remains a crazy survival action game. The world we are creating will push the envelope for asynchronous, free-to-play. The trademark Grasshopper visual and narrative flair remains a signature for the title."
That signature visual flair is what has made Suda51’s games iconic among fans, from the over-the-top action of No More Heroes to, well, the over-the-top action of Killer7. No More Heroes was easily one of the best games released on the Nintendo Wii in my opinion, and one that actually made using the Wiimote and Nunchuk an entertaining option. I can’t wait to go hands-on with Suda’s latest creation on a current generation console, and see how far they’ve amped up both the artistic and sadistic flare.
