SUPERHOT coming to Xbox One next month0 Comments
SUPERHOT is finally headed to the Xbox One Marketplace next month. Since its initial launch on Windows, Linux, and Mac, console-playing fans of indies and first-person shooters alike have wondered when the game would make its console debut.
Earlier this week during the “ID@Xbox Showcase” livestream on Twitch, Cezary Skorupka of Team Superhot announced that the game will finally be available for purchase on the Xbox Store on May 3. The team is not expecting any further delays or issues. “Nothing will change. This is the day you will play SUPERHOT on Xbox One,” Skorupka said during the broadcast.
SUPERHOT is a first-person shooter where enemies and bullets only move when the player does. This allows for a much different type of gameplay than your standard FPS fare. It requires more problem solving and strategy rather than being able to out-gun your enemies.
Marcus Estrada gave the game a 9/10 in our PC review and lauded its “tremendously innovative deconstruction of the FPS genre.” Xbox owners, you will definitely want to add this one to your collection.
