Valve drops International 2016 dates, prices, and more0 Comments
Valve's International 2015 was a success, and they're hoping to keep the good times rolling this year. To make sure game fans know exactly what to expect, new information has been released regarding the upcoming Dota 2 International 2016, including dates, times, pricing, and more.
First and foremost, the event will take place between Monday, August 8 and Saturday, August 13. Two different types of tickets will be available: Midweek tickets allow users access to the KeyArena for the initial four days of the event, while Finals tickets will be for the final two days. Midweek tickets are $75 dollars, Finals tickets are $100, and both tickets can be purchased together if so desired. Worth mentioning is that Midweek ticket holders will be able to watch the events of the Finals outside on the KeyArena grounds, assuming they don't mind missing out on the action up-close.
Tickets will be sold on April 7 and April 8 at different times depending on the area in which they're being bought. The window for purchase is only 12 hours, and even then it's linked to Seattle time, so those interested in grabbing tickets soon are recommended to check the International Ticketing FAQ and probably make use of a time zone converter.
Those are just the basics, but the provided FAQ addresses many of the questions users will have and more, including the likes of assigned seating, ticket limits, and queries regarding Steam item drops.
