Wasteland Workshop DLC hits Fallout 4 on April 120 Comments
The next piece of downloadable content for Fallout 4 — the creation-centric Wasteland Workshop — has been confirmed by Bethesda for an April 12th release.
The DLC pack follows Automatron, the first of three announced Fallout 4 content packs making up the Season Pass that allowed us to build and travel with our own robot compantion. This time, as Bethesda describes it, Wasteland Workshop will let players "design and set cages to capture live creatures – from raiders to Deathclaws! Tame them or have them face off in battle, even against your fellow settlers. The Wasteland Workshop also includes a suite of new design options for your settlements like nixie tube lighting, letter kits, taxidermy and more!"
Those who didn't buy the Season Pass and still want to check this workshop out will be able to purchase the content separately for $4.99.
This DLC pack is going to absorb an inordinate amount of time from most who purchase it. Building and maintaining settlements is fun as it is, but now we can build areas to host massive creature battles while also revamping our homes with new items. Even if I had just gotten my Fallout 4 home where I wanted it to look, I'd be all over Wasteland Workshop, so I hope it pans out as a great addition to the settlement creation tools.
